Ferdinando Gentile (nicknamed 'Nando Gentile) (born January 1, 1967 in Tuoro, Italy) is an Italian retired professional basketball player.

While playing for Juvecaserta Basket, Ferdinando Gentile, won the Italian Championship in the 1990/91 season, he won the Italian Cup in the 1987/88 season, played in the Italian Cup final in the 1988/89 season, he played in the Korać Cup final in the 1985/86 season, and he also played in the European Cup Winners' Cup final in the 1988/89 season. In the 1993/1994 season, Gentile was also a Radivoj Korac European Cup finalist while playing for Pallacanestro Trieste.
He also played for Olimpia Milano. Milano's last titles came as the team won both the Italian League and the Italian Cup in the 1995/1996 season with players like Gentile and Dejan Bodiroga and Gregor Fucka.[1] He was also with Olimpia, a 2 time Radivoj Korac European Cup finalist (1994/1995 season and 1995/1996 season) and a Raimundo Saporta European Cup finalist in the 1997/1998 season.
In the 1999/2000 season he won the Euroleague Championship while playing for Panathinaikos BC. He also won 3 Greek Championships with Panathinaikos (1998/1999 season, 1999/2000 season, 2000/2001 season).

While playing for the Italian national basketball team 'Nando Gentile was a silver medalist at the Eurobasket 1991. He also participated at the Eurobasket 1987, the Eurobasket 1993, and the Eurobasket 1995 with Italy.
