Falegh Sanat Co. (Industrial General Contractor)[1] was established in Tehran in 1990 to provide needed technical and engineering services for the implementation of industrial plans and projects, detailed design of projects as well as presentation of process optimization plans for increasing capacity of production lines of various plants in addition to design and implementation of industrial automation systems.

After working out needed mechanisms and increasing quality and quantity of facilities and resources, Falegh Sanat Company started its major activities as an Industrial General Contractor in 1995, which included installation industrial plants on EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) basis within frame of advanced project control of five sugar production plants from sugarcane with total annual capacity of 500,000 metric tons. Falegh Sanat Company developed its activities in 1999 concurrent with signing contracts for establishing two more sugar plants and in line with previous contracts, it expanded activities in the field of implementing industrial projects and, finally, created a powerful organization in engineering and industrial fields.

In view of necessities and conditions needed for promoting goals of the company within frame of a technical and engineering complex, necessary steps were taken to obtain targeted certificates including:

  • Permit for establishing engineering service unit from Ministry of Industries and Mines (1997);
  • Permit for exporting technical and engineering services from Management and Plan Organization (2001);
  • Membership at Quality Management Association of Iran (2002);
  • ISO 9001:1994 quality assurance certificate from DNV Institute (2002);
  • Membership at the Association of Iran Industry Equipment Manufacturers (SATSA) (2002);
  • Grade 1 qualification certificate for establishing industrial projects and plans from Management and Plan Organization (2003);
  • Membership at Iran Technical and Engineering Exporters Association (2003);
  • Membership at more than 15 joint foreign chambers of industries and commerce.

The results of efforts made by experts and directors are implemented as plans.

By relying on capabilities and abilities gained by the company, Falegh Sanat Company pays attention to infrastructural and industrial projects and plans inside the country while expanding its activities to other countries. Establishing technical contacts and effective participation in tender bids as well as research and feasibility studies related to industrial and infrastructural project in such countries as Bahrain, Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt, Nigeria, Syria, Sudan and Venezuela, in addition to technical and specialized cooperation and exchange of engineering services with European countries has made the company stand out in the country and has provided necessary conditions for presence at domestic and foreign markets.

Falegh Sanat Company is looking at wider horizons. At present, the company has provided needed grounds with the help of committed experts and specialists, for penetrating foreign markets and supplying technical and engineering services by relying on valuable experiences gained over the past 15 years of industrial activities in the country. The company is also spreading technology and capabilities of Iranian specialists in Central Asia, Middle East and the Latin America.
