The discography of Faith No More, an American alternative rock group, consists of six studio albums, eighteen singles, one live album, five Compilation albums, three VHS releases and one DVD release.
Faith No More released their first album We Care a Lot through Mordam Records in 1985 which earned them a record deal with Slash Records. Their second album, Introduce Yourself, was released in April 1987. Shortly afterwards they fired Chuck Mosely, their vocalist at the time, and replaced him with Mike Patton.[1] During the tour supporting their third album, The Real Thing, they released their only live album, Live at the Brixton Academy, and their first number 1 single, "Epic".[2] Their fourth studio album Angel Dust, which has been called the most influential album of all time by Kerrang!,[3] was released in 1992 with their final two number 1 singles, "Midlife Crisis"[4] and the Lionel Richie cover "Easy".[2] Following the tour supporting Angel Dust and the departure of long-time guitarist Jim Martin they released their fifth studio album, King for a Day... Fool for a Lifetime, in 1995. Their final studio album, Album of the Year, was released on June 3, 1997 and was their only number 1 charting album.[5]
