Why? Dahn 01:16, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- At the moment you might not see a point in an info box, but it gives consistency in look and feel to all the revolutionary pages and will eventually contain an image (if one can be found). Furthermore it makes the time frame/locations clear upon fist glimps of the page, which will benifit the reader.--Fabio 01:29, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- I promise you that when the criteria for the infobox is met, I'll create it myself. I plan on really working on this article,so that should be feasible. Dahn 01:35, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- Fabrib, with or without border, the picture is low-resolution and butt ugly (and likely to have been edited by someone with colour additions - which, aside from being tacky, means there is something subject to copyright in the picture). I'm going to scan a better one in the coming weeks - is it ok if I remove that one until then? Dahn 01:55, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Ofcourse, i didnt much like the picture anyway, though i have to say that the article nevr actually made clear where he died? So without the user-box and your little contribution how would a reader know?--Fabio 01:59, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I have to say that I took a guess. I basically wrote the entire article, but left it out because I did not know for sure. It is improbable that he died anywhere else, though. Dahn 02:07, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Thank you very much for your support in my RfA. Unfortunately consensus was not reached, and the nomination was not successful. I do however appreciate your comments, am still in support of the Wikipedia project, and will continue to contribute without interruption. Thanks again! --Elonka 08:49, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Rome screenshot 01.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Rome screenshot 01.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 23:53, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Sammie01.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Sammie01.gif. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Chowbok ☠ 18:33, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned public domain images
The following images were uploaded by you, but are currently not in use. They have been tagged as public domain (PD), either as PD-self or other PD claim, or equivilant. These unused PD images may be subject to deletion as orphans. You may wish to add them to an article, tag them for copying to WP commons {{Copy to Wikimedia Commons}} or if they are no longer needed, they can be nominated for deletion by following the easy three step process at Images and media for deletion. If you have any questions, please leave me a note on my talk page. --Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 20:51, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Request
I've just checked and I see that are of Portuguese descent. Perhaps you could give me a helping hand. I've been writing lately a lot of articles about Portuguese art, such as Igreja de São Julião (Setúbal), Monastery of Jesus of Setúbal, Belém Tower, Mafra National Palace, Pena National Palace, Pena National Palace, Sesimbra, Nicolau Chanterene, Jerónimos Monastery, Manueline, Rossio, Church of Nossa Senhora da Nazaré and a lot more. Since it's hard for me to obtain reliable data and information about all these places, except from a few sources and most of these source were written in Portuguese (that I don't understand), I wonder if you could check the Portuguese wikipedia about these articles (I presume that you understand Portuguese) and find out if I have overlooked something. I've tried to be thorough, but still I like to have an article that is finished. And that's almost impossible without checking every possible source. Thanks in advance. JoJan 19:59, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- well i only know Portuguese to an intermediate level, so i might not understand some of the complicated stuff, but i'l try and read it over for you. --Fabio 21:12, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
