European route E22

E 22 is one of the longest European routes. Many of the E-Roads have been extended into Asia since the year 2000; the E 22 was on 24 June 2002.

There is no ferry Immingham-Amsterdam. The best alternative is Kingston upon Hull-Rotterdam.
No ferry - Amsterdam - A10 - A8 - Amsterdam - A7 - Groningen - A7 - Nieuweschans
Bunde - A280 - Dreieck Bunde - A31 - Dreieck Leer - A28 - Dreieck Oldenburg West - A28 - Dreieck Delmenhorst - B322 - Dreieck Stuhr - A1 - Bremen - A1 - Hamburg - A1 - Kreuz Lübeck - A20 - Kreuz Rostock - A19 - Rostock Ost - B105 - Stralsund - B96 - Sassnitz - ferry "Königslinie" (Baltic Sea)

In Sweden E-Roads do not have national numbers. There is no ferry across the Baltic Sea between Norrköping and Ventspils. The best ferry alternatives would be from either Nynäshamn or Karlshamn to Ventspils, both lines run by Scandlines.

From Moscow the E22 follows the Russian route M7 and the Trans-Siberian Railway.
