Category:Eudicots
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The eudicots (plural) are a group of plants, recognised by the APG II system, of 2003 (and previously in the APG system, of 1998). It is a clade, and has not been assigned a rank or a formal botanical name.
Going by number of species the clade eudicots is the most important grouping of the angiosperms (flowering plants). The eudicots have those characteristics that the schoolbooks attributed to what used to be the dicots.
