Eric Ollerenshaw OBE is a British Conservative politician.
He was born and grew up in Lancashire and, having spent many years living in London, now lives in Lancaster[1].
Until recently, he was leader of the opposition group in the London Borough of Hackney[2] representing Springfield as one of its three Conservative councillors. For a short time he was joint leader of the council with Labour's Jules Pipe during Hackney's most troubled period. He has also been a member of the Inner London Education Authority (ILEA) between 1986 to 1990. Ollerenshaw was a list member of the London Assembly and was the leader of the opposition group in the Assembly until he lost his seat in the 2004 election. He remains a board member of the London Development Agency.
He has been selected as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Lancaster and Fleetwood at the next parliamentary election.[3]
