Eric Deis

Eric Deis (born Queen Charlotte Islands, British Columbia, October, 1979) is a Canadian photographer best known for his large-scale photographs of the urban landscape. In particular, his work addresses contentious issues such as Vancouver's Downtown Eastside and the Woodward's building.[1]
Eric Deis received his MFA from the University of California, San Diego in 2004.[2] Deis is currently lives and works in Vancouver, B.C., where he teaches photography at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design.[3]
In 2006 his photographs of sunset over Burrard Bridge were exhibited at Vancouver's Western Front gallery.[4]
