[edit] Albums

Album Date of release Description
Pop U! 1991

(Recorded at UP Diliman)

The "1st ever indie album in Philippine music history"[citation needed]. Songs later released on their more popular albums such as 'Tindahan Ni Aling Nena' 'Toyang', 'Scorpio Rising', 'Pare Ko', 'Milk And Money' and 'Wishing Wells' were included in this album as well as 6 unreleased tracks.
UltraElectroMagneticPop! 1993

BMG Music

The band's major label debut. The name of the album is a play on the technique "Ultra Electro Magnetic Top!" from the Japanese 1970's cartoon cult classic Voltes V . Better-known songs from the album include 'Toyang', 'Pare Ko', 'Tindahan Ni Aling Nena', 'Maling Akala' and 'Ligaya'. UltraElectroMagneticPop! is the only Eraserheads album where the songs were written by means of jamming.
Circus 1994

BMG Music

Their second most popular album after Cutterpillow. This album is known for the controversial 'Alapaap' and as well as their famous love song, 'With A Smile'. 'Sembreak', 'Minsan' and Magasin' are also included in this album. 'Kailan' is based on the play Manhid. The song from the Blockbuster film of the same name Wating is also on the album. Circus is also the first album produced by Robin Rivera, a partnership that lasted until the band's demise.
Cutterpillow 1995

BMG Music

One of the biggest albums in the history of Philippine music. It produced one of their biggest hits, 'Ang Huling El Bimbo,' which won them the Best Video Award in the MTV Asian Music Awards. Cutterpillow also produced other hits like 'Huwag Mo Nang Itanong,' 'Torpedo', 'Superproxy' and 'Overdrive'.
Fruitcake (Single) 1996

BMG Music

This album contains the band's well-known Christmas song 'Fruitcake' and their own version of 'Christmas Alphabet'. The version of 'Fruitcake' as featured in this release is marginally different from the later album version.
Fruitcake 1996

BMG Music

A Christmas concept album following up the EP of the same name. The record tells the story of a runaway girl who stumbles upon the fictional village "Fruitcake Heights". Hits include 'Fruitcake' and 'Trip To Jerusalem'.
Bananatype EP 1997

BMG Music

This album contains the song 'Harana' (not to be confused with the Parokya ni Edgar song of the same name), 'Tikman' (which was used in a Burger Machine commercial) and 'Policewoman' (which should have been part of the sound track of Joey De Leon's Run Barbie Run but was not used by Regal Films). Also included: 'Bananatype' and 'I Can't Remember You'.
Sticker Happy 1997

BMG Music

This album was notable for the heavy usage of samples and synthesizers, which the members of the band purchased in the United States during a concert tour. The songs in this album tend to be surreal in nature; The track 'Spoliarium' was named after the famous Juan Luna painting; however, the song was about alcoholism. Another song, 'Andalusian Dog', alluded to the film Un chien andalou by the Spanish surrealist director Luis Buñuel. Other hits include 'Kaliwete' and 'Para Sa Masa'. Also featured 'Bogchi Hokbu', a song later used in a snack food commercial.
Aloha Milkyway 1998

BMG Music

This album was the Eraserheads' first international release, in response to their success at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards in New York. Composed mostly of previously-released English tracks, it also featured 'Ang Huling El Bimbo', the video of which won the group the Asian Viewer's Choice Award the previous year.
Natin99 1999

BMG Music

The band's 6th album. Contains the songs 'Maselang Bahaghari' and 'Huwag Kang Matakot'.
Carbon StereOxide 2001

BMG Music

The 7th and last Eraserheads album with Ely Buendia on vocals before Kris Dancel took his place. Includes the song 'Hula' and 'Maskara'. 'Maskara' was the last music video made by the Eraserheads.
Please Tranpose EP 2003

BMG Music

The last official recording of the Eraserheads. Features Kris Dancel (of the all-girl group "Fatal Posporos") on vocals, replacing Buendia who abruptly left the group. A few months later, due to legal issues surrounding their name, the group adopted the monicker "Cambio". The album contains the songs 'You Make Me', 'Everything's Falling', 'Iccentric', 'Lahat', 'It's Not You (It's Me)', 'Dahan-Dahan' and 'Paru-Parong Ningning'.
