En+ Group is an energy and aluminium business owned by Basic Element, which is Oleg Deripaska's investment firm. En+ Group owns a controlling interest in United Company RUSAL. It reported revenues of $10.869 billion in 2006.[1]
The formation of En+ Group was announced on February 21, 2006. Registered in Jersey, it initially included RusAl, the predecessor of United Company RUSAL, together with Eurosibenergo, an electricity company, and United Oil Group, an oil and gas company, employing more than 110,000 people in 17 countries.[2]

En+ Group, the energy division of Basel, was founded in 2005.
In its strategy En+ Group concentrates on the extraction of energy raw materials, as well as on the production and sales of electric energy and high energy consuming metals.
The company’s key business is related to the Aluminium production, En+ Group being the majority shareholder of UC RUSAL, the world’s largest Aluminum and alumina producer.
En+ Group’s assets include EuroSibEnergo, the most important independent energy company in Russia; United Oil Group, operator of oil production and refining facilities; and the Central European Aluminium Company, which manages a bauxite mine and an aluminium smelter in Montenegro.
Another important activity of En+ Group is innovation projects for its businesses, inc. coal extraction, oil refining, nuclear energy and non-ferrous metals production in Russia and abroad, with all implementation work and efficiency analysis involved.
En+ Group’s operations are based on environmentally-friendly methods of energy production, with hydro energy production being the most important of them. Environment protection is one of the company’s key priorities.
