Empire Online

Empire Online is an investment company established by Arnon Katz and Noam Lanir which is traded on the London Stock Exchange under the symbol EOL. Created in 2002, Empire Online is located in the British Virgin Islands and employs 40 people.

Subsequent to the passage of the Safe Port Act, the company terminated its previous business activity of promoting multiple online casino, online poker, and online bingo properties.^{[citation needed]}

Previously the company's flagship poker product was Empire Poker, but the company sold that brand^[1] in 2006 to PartyGaming as part of a settlement of a dispute^[2] between the former partners. In December 2006 the company announced its remaining gaming assets were purchased by PartyGaming.^[3]
