Emirates Dubai Television

Emirates Dubai Television was a television channel transmitting terrestrially out of Dubai in Arabic targeting the expat community in the UAE. It was founded in 1979. It started transmitting over the satellite in 2002 using Arabsat and Nilesat. In 2004 it changed its identity completely and is now known as Dubai TV and is part of DMI.

Emirates Dubai Television was much better than the new channel which it got replaced by, much much better.
