Egypt is North East Africa.In fact egypt lies on the banks of the Nile. Egyptians stayed near the areas around the nile because it was very fertil and it was the only drinking source in the middle of the desert.Covering an area of about 1,020,000 km², Egypt borders with Libya to the west.Egypt is famous for its ancient civilization,history and some of the world's most stunning ancient monuments, including the Giza Pyramids, the Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings.
