Edwin Hurtado

Edwin Amilgar Hurtado [oor-TAH-doh] (born February 1, 1970 in Barquisimeto, Lara State, Venezuela) is a former Major League Baseball right-handed starting pitcher who played with the Toronto Blue Jays (1995) and Seattle Mariners (1996-1997). He batted and threw right-handed.
In a three-season Major League career, Hurtado posted an 8-9 record with 79 strikeouts and a 6.67 ERA in 144 innings.
In 1998 and 1999, Hurtado played for the Nippon Professional Baseball's Orix Blue Wave, and in 2004 he played for the LG Twins of the Korea Baseball Organization.
