Edward River
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Edward River is a river in the south west Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. The river is an anabranch of the Murray River, the second-longest river in Australia.
The river starts at Picnic Point, as a result of the bottleneck created in the Murray by the Cadell fault, travelling north west through River red gum forest before reaching Deniliquin. It then joins the Wakool River before reentering the Murray.
