The overview asserts that Peru's growth has been a result of their working with the IMF and World Bank, and that their financial problems are in spite of this. That's a pro-IMF POV (which is unsurprising, since the info comes from the CIA, which is very pro-IMF.) But many economists disagree. – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 18:21, 25 December 2005 (UTC)

- Not only that, but reading the economic report lets you think that Peru is paradise, but reality is that according to last research 51,2 % of population is below poverty one of the highest in southamerica. tendency = still increasing.
