[edit] Requested move
Surrey East → Surrey East (UK parliament constituency) — the latter is the standard naming convention for parliamentary seats; I tried to do the move myself, but the latter correct page had already been created as an redirect to the former incorrect one, and I was loathe to lose the history, even on a relatively minor page. This article has been renamed as the result of a move request. Copy/paste moved to Surrey East (UK Parliament constituency) - histories now merged and fixed. violet/riga (t) 14:52, 14 May 2005 (UTC)
- As per the above discussion, in which no one voiced disapproval at the time, I have returned the page to East Surrey (UK Parliament constituency). As East Surrey reflects a wider area and is used in the name of institutions, some of which like East Surrey Hospital are not in this constituency, it is not overdisambiguating to have the longer name. Although few links are currently misdirected to 'East Surrey', there is also the need to cater for those who search for East Surrey directly - perhaps there should be a disambig page there.
