Earl Bennett (born March 23, 1987, in Birmingham, Alabama) is a American football wide receiver for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. He played college football for the Vanderbilt Commodores. He currently holds the SEC record for most career receptions.

During his first season with Vanderbilt, he worked with quarterback Jay Cutler, who would later be drafted in the first round of the NFL draft by the Denver Broncos. Vanderbilt's win-loss record in the three years before Earl joined the team was 6-28. In the 2+ seasons since Bennett's arrival, the Commodores have compiled a 14-17 record.

The Chicago Bears chose Bennett in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He will join former Vanderbilt teammate Chris Williams, who was the Bears' first round pick in the same draft, in Chicago.

  • He has totaled more receptions than any other Southeastern Conference receiver after two years. [1]
