Dylan Keefe (born April 11, 1970 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) was the bassist in American alternative rock or post-grunge band Marcy Playground. With guitarist/lead singer John Wozniak and drummer Dan Rieser, Marcy Playground is best known for its 1997 hit "Sex and Candy". The band de facto split up in 2004 following the release and very little commercial success of their third album MP3.
Post-Marcy Playground, Dylan Keefe worked as the Technical Director for the weekly public radio program On the Media. From his On the Media bio, he writes that "having determined that the unexamined life is not worth living, he has devoted himself to improving the sound and content of OTM, and a life of unmitigated navel-gazing." Keefe left the program in December 2007.
