Duncan Arthur Phillips, (born March 3, 1964 in Nambour, Queensland), is an Australian pop/rock drummer, percussionist, keyboardist, and composer. He is best known for his career with the Newsboys as their drummer and percussionist.

Phillips' involvement with musical performance began in the 80's with a band he had in Queensland, Australia, which played for local youth groups. Peter Furler and Phillips were in rival bands at the time. Unbeknownst to either of them, they both moved to the U.S. at the same time, Furler pursuing his career with the Newsboys in Tennessee and Phillips pursuing his career with his own band on the West Coast. Phillips joined the Newsboys in 1993 when Furler surprisingly found him in the U.S. and asked him to join the Newsboys, who were in need of a keyboardist. Phillips's role as a keyboardist only lasted for one album, Going Public. After that he played as the percussionist until 1997, when lead vocalist John James left the band and Peter Furler took his place. Since then he has played as the Newsboys' main drummer and occasional percussionist. He has remained as a part of the Newsboys ever since.
