RUMURS OT THE PAST. There are rumors that flowing over some veterans of the world warII. During the invasion of Gen. Douglas Mc Arthur in the gulf of Leyte. Some of the veterans claim that the General did'nt landed at Palo,Leyte it was in Dulag leyte. There are some proof of that like the Hill 120 in dulag leyte. The other proof is that when the General landed he passed in an old church which the only church to be described by the veterans was in dulag. The other one is that few days after the return of General MacArthur Forces of Liberation in Leyte with the Philippine Commonwealth troops, Tolosa became the base of U.S Navy, The 6th of 13th Air Force. It was in Tanghas, a barangay in Tolosa, where the famous American composer Irving Berlin, first presented his renowned composition "Heaven Watch The Philippines" together with his Filipino audience with then President Sergio Osmeña and Hon. Carlos P. Romulo. Tolosa is a next town of Dulag so how could be that possible that the general landed at Palo, leyte?

Dulag is politically subdivided into 45 barangays.
