"Drawn Together Babies" is the thirty-third episode of the animated series Drawn Together.

[edit] Storyline
In a parody of Jim Henson's Muppet Babies, the Drawn Together characters are inexplicably shown as toddler siblings. Their parents, after unceremoniously departing for court-ordered therapy, leave the babies in the care of a babysitter named Charlotte. Presently the babies are in a state vastly different from their current personalities, such as Foxxy being averse to nudity and Spanky being in favour of cleanliness. This soon changes after the babysitter forcefully announces that her boyfriend Chad is coming to the Drawn Together house and thus the babies need to go to bed early. Spanky devises a plan for revenge, the course of which transforms each baby's personality. After the construction of an elaborate trap to lock the babysitter in the nursery closet, Ling-Ling is the only one to point out the plan's major flaw. This inevitably is unheeded by the other babies and so, when the ploy is enacted, it actually ends up killing the babysitter. Things are exacerbated when Charlotte's boyfriend Chad Huffington (heir to Huffington Pants fortune) arrives. Not knowing what to do, Foxxy formulates a plan wherein Princess Clara, Xandir, Ling-Ling and Spanky impersonate Charlotte using a trenchcoat and a wig, whilst she, Toot and a third seemingly random baby named Walter Saget, dump the body in the pool.
Princess Clara, Xandir, Ling-Ling and Spanky stall Chad as long as they can (with Spanky operating as Charlotte's head) until Chad proposes that "she/they" should meet his parents. At the Huffington family home, the parents reject 'Charlotte' whilst Chad's rebellious brother Chase mocks his brother's love. Chad ignores them all and elopes with the four babies in the trenchcoat to a seedy motel. Seeing as how this is getting them nowhere, Xandir switches places with Spanky and ushers Chad out of the room only to have Chase climb through a window and reveal that he too was with Charlotte and that she is pregnant. Chad returns and the two fight. 'Charlotte' declares her water has broken, though this is just Spanky having peed. When the six of them reach the hospital "she/they" give birth to Ling-Ling, being the feet of the operation. The doctor declares Ling-Ling looks more like a fellow resident doctor. This causes the brothers to reunite and leave. The doctor himself is also four babies in a trenchcoat and 'he' allows the babies to return home.
At home, Foxxy distracts Captain Hero (who is prone to tattle-tale) while Toot and Walter dump the body. They find the babysitter was only stunned which spurs Toot to murder her. Hero has however caught Walter and forces him to confess after a rigorous session on the 'Sit n' Spin'. All the spinning has an effect on Walter's body and transforms him into Wooldoor Sockbat; Hero himself is knocked out. Meanwhile, as the body won't fit through the pool vacuum, Foxxy and Toot store it in an abandoned refrigerator (along with Captain Hero to keep him quiet). Finally Princess Clara, Xandir, Ling-Ling, Spanky and the babies' parents arrive home, completely unaware of anything that has transpired, believing the babies were playing hide and seek.
Musical number: "Drawn Together Babies", the show's theme song, a parody of the Muppet Babies theme.

- When this episode first aired, when both Captain Hero and Wooldoor (who was still Walter at the time) are at the Sit 'n Spin, Wooldoor said, "Maybe she went to wash out her dirty snatch." For unknown reasons, Comedy Central censored the word "snatch". However, in the reruns of this episode and on the Comedy Central website, "snatch" is uncensored.
- This episode aired on Sunday, September 2, 2007 in Latin America, over a month before its debut in the United States.
- Ling-Ling stops speaking English halfway through the episode and starts speaking in his original language, which is supposed to sound similar to Japanese but is truly just gibberish; it is explained within the episode that Ling-Ling began speaking this way because no-one else would listen to him.
- Tara Strong voices "Mommy", while Jess Harnell voices "Daddy".
- When she thinks the group is going to get in trouble for killing the babysitter, Toot cries, "I can't go back to time-out room, I won't go back!", then jumps through the window of a playset of a house. This is a reference to "Little Orphan Hero", when Clara screamed, "I can't go back to jail, I won't go back!", then jumped through the window of a hospital room. The gag was also used with Spanky in "Charlotte's Web of Lies", when he screamed about not wanting to go back to rehab.
- Hero tells Walter that if he tells what happened to the babysitter, he'll "talk to the DA about extenuating circumstances". This is a reference to "Gay Bash", when Clara tried to get Wooldoor to divulge the location of the lamp by making him the same offer.
- Foxxy sees Toot munching on a bag of Funyuns and says, "Them ain't yo' Funyuns! Them's Foxxy Funyuns!" As well as being a continuation of the show's running gag about Foxxy's love of the crunchy, onion-flavored snack food, this is a direct reference to "Little Orphan Hero", when she made the same complaint about her housemates stealing her Funyuns.
- The phrase "How should I know? I'm just a baby" (or variations thereof) is used multiple times throughout the episode, usually when more complicated words are used, such as Captain Hero saying "extenuating circumstances", and the other four babies in a trenchcoat saying "emergency triple bypass".

This episode also explains how the characters came to be the way they are, however most of these are taken to be non-canonical and one-off jokes, for instance Xandir actually realized he was gay in the third episode of Season One (and the series, overall).
- Sid is apparently the 9th character that slept on his stomach and died.
- Captain Hero came to be a necrophiliac after spending time with the babysitter's dead body in the refrigerator.
- Foxxy Love came to be promiscuous after seducing Hero to distract him.
- Xandir became gay after Chase kissed him believing him to be Charlotte.
- Toot became addicted to food after murdering the babysitter, in an attempt to fill the void the murder had left her with.
- Princess Clara became racist and intolerant after Foxxy's plan was chosen over hers.
- Spanky Ham came to love excrement after having to publicly urinate.
- Ling-Ling came to only speak his "crazy language" after realizing none of the others were going to listen to him.
- Wooldoor Sockbat became physically what he is after his internal organs were twisted by the 'Sit n' Spin'.

- During the opening credits, Xandir is riding a toy car that resembles one of the automobiles from the movie Cars.

- During the opening sequence, a baby named Sid states that he sleeps on his stomach; when he is shown moments later in the episode, he is dead (represented by the sound of flies buzzing around his bassinet). Sid's name is an acronym for sudden infant death syndrome, which is often caused by babies sleeping on their stomachs. There is a sign on his bed that reads "Sid's Bassinet," (with the apostrophe)
- After Ling-Ling declares that if he wanted to support three assholes, he would have bought a Color Me Badd album, the show cuts to Ling-Ling in the confessional singing their hit "I Wanna Sex You Up"; this is the only confessional segment in this episode.
- Near the end of the theme song, the housemates are pictured in a 3x3 grid, with a different housemate in each box (except for the lower right hand corner, which features baby Sid), mimicking the way the cast appeared in the credits of The Brady Bunch. This is the second time Drawn Together has used a shot like this, the first time being in "The Drawn Together Clip Show".
- Before she flings her used diaper, Foxxy declares that she is shy, and asks the others to "pretend that I'm the genocide in Sudan and turn your head", a reference to the Chadian-Sudanese Conflict and the Darfur conflict. The war is referenced again a few minutes later, when after Foxxy announces that the group must get rid of Chad (Charlotte's boyfriend), Clara, Xandir, Spanky, and Ling-Ling assume she means the country of Chad and take up arms.
- Stuck in his crib, Ling-Ling shouts, "Attica! Attica!", a reference to the Attica Prison riots. Also, the quote is a reference to Al Pacino's line in Dog Day Afternoon.
- After Spanky says he has a plan to keep the group from having to go to bed, the screen spins around while music resembling the introduction to the Batman theme song plays, a reference to the 1960s Batman TV series. The gag is repeated later on in the episode after Chad discovers Chase and "Charlotte" together.
- When he is showing the babies the plan for catching the babysitter, Xandir uses toys as stand-ins for each of the characters; the toy figure he uses to represent Captain Hero is a Fisher-Price Little Person dressed up as a superhero. This figure looks very similar to the adult Hero.
- The subplot involving the Chad/Charlotte/Chase love triangle, as well as the tension between Chad and his family, is a general parody of soap operas.
- After each character performs an action which foreshadows their adult personality, a man in a smoking jacket (who is voiced by James Arnold Taylor) appears and says that is how that person ended up taking on this particular quality. This character, who previously appeared in "Captain Hero's Marriage Pact" and "Captain Girl", is a reference to Masterpiece Theatre.
- After telling "Charlotte" that pants would go well with her trench coat, Chad turns to the camera and says, "Pants- they're not just for chimps anymore!", after which a musical cue plays. This is another parody of NBC's "The More You Know" series of public service announcements.
- Foxxy, Toot, and Walter try to dispose of the babysitter's body by dumping it in the pool. This is a parody of the way characters in gangster movies get rid of corpses by dumping them in the nearest body of water.
- One of the friends who helps Foxxy retrieve the babysitter's body is Flipper the dolphin. Foxxy is also aided by a seahorse whom she calls "Tori Spelling", continuing the show's running gag of insulting Spelling (who had been previously compared to a dog in "Spelling Applebee's").
- The refrigerator in which the babies lock Captain Hero is labelled "My First Abandoned Refrigerator". This is a reference to a trend (which an episode of Punky Brewster helped bring to the public consciousness) during the 1980s where playing children would unintentionally lock themselves in abandoned refrigerators and suffocate.
- During the dirty-diaper race, Wacky WallWalkers, a popular toy in the 1980s, are mentioned.
