Dragonvarld

A trilogy of books in DragonVarld, the Dragon name for Earth ("Dragon World"). The trilogy tells of a world where humans live in the ignorance by believing that they are the rulers of the world, while the dragons know that they are the true rulers.

Dragons have made a pact against dealing with the human world. Maristara, an evil dragon, has gone and hidden in the valley of Seth. She survives by keeping out the other dragons with magic, and by using humans who she has trained in dragon magic. She is a black dragon and therefore one of the oldest, strongest and most powerful of all dragons. A young green dragon Braun, the grand-child of Maristara, brings startling evidence that his father who had tried to coax Maristara out of her valley, has died. His death was previously thought to be an accident though Braun has learned he was murdered by another dragon in league with Maristara.
Draconas, the walker, a dragon in human form, upon listening to this at the Dragon Parliament decides to complete a task. Find the Mistress of Dragons, the ruler of Seth, and, from her, find out the where-abouts of Maristara and give the dragons the opportunity to bring her to justice. With Braun to help and a human king to get through Maristara's barrier, he sets out - to adventure.
What he finds shakes him utterly. In the end, he has two babes, one a human who has powerful dragon magic at his command and one a half-dragon who will either join Maristara or kill her when he grows.
One of the babies is a half-dragon by the name of Ven, short for Vengeance. The other one is Marcus and is brought up by his father, but as a child, he was lost in his thoughts because of the dragon magic within him.
