Downtown Records LLC is an independently owned record label and publishing company based in the United States. Downtown was founded in January 2006 by Josh Deutsch, former Senior Vice President of A&R at Virgin Records. Music on the Downtown label is distributed by Warner Music's Alternative Distribution Alliance and for certain releases, a joint venture with Atlantic Records.
Downtown Music Publishing is the sister publishing company of Downtown Records which publishes most of the Downtown artist/writer roster.
