Douglas Alan Mathis (born June 7, 1983 in Phoenix, Arizona) is a starting pitcher for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball. He was selected by the Rangers in 13th round of the 2005 MLB draft.
Mathis made his major league debut with the Rangers on May 12, 2008. Mathis entered the game against the Seattle Mariners in the 10th inning and was the winning pitcher in the Rangers' 13-12 victory.[1]
