Double Vision is the second album by American rock band Foreigner, released in 1978.

This album features the band's signature song "Hot Blooded", which peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The title track was also a major hit, peaking at #2.

The name for the title track is believed to have been from a few of the band's members watching the 1978 Stanley Cup Playoffs between the New York Rangers and the Buffalo Sabres. During the game, Rangers goaltender John Davidson took a hard slapshot to the mask and was shaken up by the play.

While Davidson shook it off, Rangers' announcers Jim Gordon and Bill Chadwick talked over an over about how Davidson probably suffered from "double vision" after taking the slapshot. *Source - [1].

The song was also used in an episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force when The Mooninites acquired a belt that would perform its command as long as it was a Foreigner song. "Double Vision" caused someone to have just that. Other self-explanatory powers used were "Hot Blooded," "Cold as Ice," and "Dirty White Boy." The song "Juke Box Hero" was also referenced in the same episode. The Mooninites double vision attack was connecting to each other and shooting two slow moving bullets

In the videos about the Coleco and Intellivision gaming consoles by the Angry Video Game Nerd the song "Double Vision" is played and sung by Kyle Justin.
