Don't delete this page

This page should not be deleted as it tells Doctor Who fans what story happens in order. Plus I haven't seen any similar pages to this on Wikipedia. And also the other people who contribute to the other Doctor Who pages allowed me to make this page. VitasV 28/7/2007

If this page goes to a deletion debate and it probably will if you deleted the prod notice, then you'd better marshall your arguments and keep your temper. Angry outbursts will work against you here. Personally I think a list of DW stories in Doctor's timeline order is an ok idea, but it's not up to me whether it stays.
By the way, nobody "allows" anyone else to create articles. Once you've logged in you can create anything you like, but be prepared for the consequences if you abuse this privilege. Totnesmartin 10:33, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

References

I have now referenced all the Books/ Audio plays and the "involvents" up to the Seventh Doctor. Can we remove the banner at the top of the page? Also should we put in any sort of note regarding the television serials - e.g "listed in televised order"? StuartDD 13:49, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Might I just add that most of the "unsourced" material was already on wiki on other pages without any source. Several Audio and Book pages contain the placements without a reference, and Big Finish Doctor Who chronology contains no references. StuartDD 14:39, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks

I thank you all for your contributions though may I just ask you that if we can leave the Eighth Doctor story to be called "The Movie" just for this page please and please could you just let me do all the Eighth Doctor stories for now please. Thanks. Vitas 10/8/2007

Please use the proper name - it is important to be consistent across the different articles. --Ckatzchatspy 02:39, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
VitasV, please stop replacing the title of the TVM with an incorrect title. --Ckatzchatspy 01:45, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Seventh Doctor

I have placed in the Seventh Doctor adventures. I am not familiar with any of them, so could someone add the "main monsters" guide to those stories. StuartDD 21:06, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

I think we'll have to start the Seventh Doctor section again cause I've noticed alot is not there so I'll get rid of it and start it off again. VitasV 9/8/2007
It has been restored - please add to what is already there, rather than tossing out StuartDD's work. --Ckatzchatspy 02:38, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
The List is from Outpost Gallifrey. That is not complete so it may leave some out. Please keep it - I spent hours (And I mean hours) finding all the articles and getting the order correct. StuartDD 13:52, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Alright but still can someone please add all the stories with Hex and also add in Destiny of the Doctors, Dalek Attack and The Mines of Terror. VitasV 11/8/07

i've now added the missing Hex adventures. None of the others are listed on Outpost Gallifrey or the Doctor Who Reference Guide. StuartDD 16:28, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

Still add them in. Destiny of the Doctors would be sometime after Death Comes to Time. Mines of Terror will be somewhere when the Sixth Doctor is by himself and Dalek Attack will be somewhere after Survival. VitasV 12/8/07

Main Monsters and Villains Keys

Please when adding a story in, please add the key symbol too if the enemy is in it. VitasV 12/8/07

Isn't this getting a bit large? How do we define a "main" monster anyway? Some of the ones in there only have 2 or 3 stories. And does Cybermen really need split into two sections? StuartDD 19:58, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Yes it does since Cybermen and Paralel Earth Cybermen are two different beings. VitasV 17/8/2007

So what? They're all Cybermen. The alternate Cyberman only appeared a couple of times. Wryspy 01:15, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

Other stories

I've removed Iterfearence from the other stories as it's not an other story. VitasV 17/8/07

That useless key list

Those two-letter codes for the villains are useless. The Celestial Toymaker appears only once, right? In an eponymous story, as a matter of fact. Does the code CE add anything to readers' understanding? No. Absolutely nothing. Does it, in fact, have the potential to confuse them? Yes. Yes, it does. Once you have more codes than people can remember, there's no point in using the codes at all. Instead of "DA", just say "(Daleks)" -- if you're going to bother with such information at all. Wryspy 05:37, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

Like I said in the above section, how do we define a "main" monster. Gelth are not - they only appear in one, and Slitheen appear in 2 (3 if you count the cameo in Attack of the Graske). I've removed both those, as they are simly not "Main" villains. StuartDD 19:23, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
I've now removed the vilains with only two listings from the guide. Two adventures does not constitute a "main" villain. I have kept Cybermen as two for the time being. StuartDD 19:58, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Why are the codes there at all? They don't have anything to do with what this article is about - the Doctor's adventures in order from his point of view. They all should be removed. --Brian Olsen 01:17, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
I'm okay with removing them all. Although leaving them in doesn't really hurt anything, all that information is redundant to information in other Doctor Who story information lists. Anyone else have a vote or a stronger opinion one way or the other? Wryspy 01:34, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

Security

I've added security in just in case. VitasV 18/8/07

Just in case of what? Wryspy 19:50, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
I've removed it. Just adding that template doesn't actually protect a page, only an administrator can do that. And as far as I can see, this page doesn't warrant it. I've left a message on your talk page with more information. --Brian Olsen 01:15, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
