Doc has done a lot of records, shouldn't we include a list of some of the most well known ones, ie Sittin Here Pickin the Blues?

I agree - I think a full discography should be the goal, however.

I don't know enough to fix this myself, but does anyone else think it doesn't make a lot of sense to redirect Merle Watson to Doc's page? I mean, they're two different people; a basic stub would be better than what we've got. It's labeled as a redirect for subtopics, but I don't think that really applies here. I agree (although I'm not likely to fix it soon myself, either). Merle is famous enough for a Wikipedia article. --Allen 03:16, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

I agree - Merle deserves his own page. There is some information available here: http://www.merlefest.org/DocsIntro.htm. Merle was named by Frets magazine as best fingerstyle guitarist of 1985, that makes him worthy of his own page. --User:DanielLevitin 20:16, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

At least add the Reflections album he did with Chet Atkins.

Image:Doc Watson.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
