DLR Group is an international architecture, engineering, planning, and interior design firm based in Omaha, Nebraska, USA with 13 offices across the nation.[1] They are ranked the 29th largest architectural firm in the United States.[2] The company has been ranked as the number one architecture firm in the fields of education[3] and justice.[4] DLR Group was ranked the largest criminal justice architecture practice in the world for 2005 by World Architecture magazine, and 15th largest U.S. designer in hotel, motel and convention centers by the Engineering News-Record magazine.[5]

Irving R. Dana, FAIA, formed Irving R. Dana and Associates in Omaha in 1962. When Bill Larson, FAIA, and Jim Roubal, FPE, joined Dana in 1966, the firm changed to a full-service architectural and engineering firm called Dana Larson and Roubal and Associates. The firm acquired Phoenix, Arizona-based Lescher and Mahoney in 1974, and in the 1980s they acquired Seattle-based John Graham Associates. During the 1990s the firm grew, and today there are offices in It now has offices in Chicago; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Des Moines, Iowa; Farmington, New Mexico; Honolulu; Overland Park, Kansas; Milwaukee; Minneapolis; Omaha; Orlando; Philadelphia; Phoenix; Portland, Oregon; Sacramento, California; and Seattle.
