This page should not redirect to Wikipedia:Disclaimer but properly explain what a "disclaimer" is. I would suggest to delete the page as it is being removed from the "wanted" pages with this content. --Tim Pritlove 11:04, 11 Jun 2004 (UTC)
I just fixed a bit of formatting and made minor corrections, but I really thinks a lot more needs to be done to make this page at all useful. I am not a lawyer. --oKtosiTe 18:32, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
As a law student i can clearly see that this page was made by an individual with very limited knowlege of disclaimers, and an expert in the field is needed. I understand that a professional is needed, but I am in need of some legal help and thought that this might be a page that some of those in the legal profession (such as law school) might find me and possibly lend me some advice. [edit] made some fixes, mostly to lead section
The article still needs a lot of attention (apparently this is one of several closely-related subjects in need of major cleanup). The lead is still lacking cites and glibly touches on contracts, torts (negligence and prod liab), and administrative law. Some still-obvious gaps include I.P., estates, family law, constitutional law and international law. Moreover the entire article could use review for a non-US-centric bias, which might be helped by reconsidering the current breakdown of article sub-headers. dr.ef.tymac 17:16, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
