Dinalungan is a 4th class municipality in the province of Aurora, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 9,711 people in 1,875 households.

In 1942, the occupied by the Japanese forces landed in the town of Dinalungan, Tayabas (now: Aurora),
In 1945, entering to the Philippine Commonwealth troops liberated in the town of Dinalungan, Tayabas (now Aurora) we fornt the battles against the Japanese troops started in the Siege of Dinalungan in the Second World War.
