Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital

Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital is situated off Scartho Road, Grimsby. It was renamed in the Princess' honour after her death due to the fact she had opened it a decade before.
The hospital is part of the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

It was built in 1983 and in 2001 the Trust running the hospital merged with its counterpart running Scunthorpe and Goole Hospitals. Many millions of pounds has been spent on upgrading the hospital in recent years.
These developments include a new cardiology unit, a new breast care unit, a new Family Services Unit and work has just started on a new Accident and Emergency unit.
At the forefront of infection control, the Trust was a pioneer of the cleanyourhands campaign.
