Dhar Braxton

Dhar Braxton is a female R&B singer born in Brooklyn, New York. In 1986 she had a #1 hit single on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart with the song "Jump Back (Set Me Free)." Dhar Braxton is not related to, nor a member of, The Braxtons singing group.

• COMMENT Dhar Braxton was not born in Brooklyn, NY, she was born in Manhattan at Harlem Hospital. I know this for a fact, because I am she. I also recorded another single for Sleeping Bag Records entitled "Illusions". I contributed on Chocolette's "E Street Beat" prior to starting a solo career.
