Dextery is a world citizen who feeds her passions, namely:
- physics (my field of study), more precisely condensed matter, optoelectronics and astrophysics
- music, to play it or to listen to it's various genre:
- progressive rock : Genesis, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Opus 5, Jethro Tull, Premiata Forneria Marconi, Gentle Giant, Emerson Lake and Palmer
- otherrock (psychedelic or not) : The Doors, Os Mutantes
- punk : Vulgaires Machins, Bad Religion
- music with a latino groove : Calexico, Control Machete, Joao Gilberto, Sergent Garcia
- electronique and/or ambient music : Radiohead, Bjork, Medeski Martin and Wood, Massive Attack, Portishead, Add N to (X)
- cinema, mostly independent or foreign movies, a breath of fresh air compared to hollywoodian junk
- among my favorite movies : Cidade de Deus, Good Bye Lenin!, Amen, Amores Perros, Shrek, Sergio Leone's far west movies
- short films : so refreshing!
- outdoor sports, particularely hiking and cycling
- cooking : gastronomy, international, végétarian, etc. It's the best way to gather with good friends!
