Dene Halatau (born 27 January 1983 in Invercargill, New Zealand) is a New Zealand professional rugby league player for the Wests Tigers in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. His position of choice is second row or lock however he can also play in the centre.
Halatau has been selected for the New Zealand national team since 2004.
An accomplished singer and guitarist, he occasionally appears with the live studio band on the Nine Network's The NRL Footy Show.
