Dendrobium kingianum or Thelychiton kingianum[1], also called Pink rock orchid, is a plant of the genus Dendrobium and native to eastern Australia.[2] It was named after admiral Phillip Parker King, explorer of Australia.
Dendrobium kingianum grows naturally on rocky surfaces and occasionally on tree logs, flowers in spring or late winter. The shade of the flowers is usually pink and rarely white[2].
