Due to the rarity of literature for early pre-AlphaStation/AlphaServer systems, this article is a little lacking. There are numerous things that can be added, such as the storage options, expansion options and etc. However, perhaps the most important piece of information missing is the introduction and withdrawal dates. Is the Model 500 code name 'Culzean' or 'Culzen'? I've found references in archive.org for 'Culzen', from an archived Compaq web page, and none for 'Culzean'. Paul Hardy's page also mentions 'Culzen', I think. Rilak (talk) 11:27, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- There are several good web references for Culzean (the name of a castle near the DEC facility where much of the design work was done): for instance the Microsoft knowledgebase, AlphaLinux FAQ or FreeBSD/alpha hardware notes. I guess "Culzen" was a typo that propagated somewhat. Letdorf (talk) 13:08, 7 March 2008 (UTC).
