David Willis is a well-known figure in the webcomics industry. His various creations enjoy no small amount of fandom, due in part to his focus on character development.[neutrality disputed]
He is known online under many internet handles, such as ItsWalky, Walkanator, Walkertron, Walktasia, PrettyPrettyPrincess, Phazer, NeoPrimeStar and DrPoop.
A common element of David Willis' work deals with the Transformers[citation needed] (he is now an administrator of a Transformers wiki) as well as humor. Often angst and gags will fill the same strip quite fluidly.
A sample of David Willis' creations include:
- Sly Sirs - A precursor to Roomies which featured the characters in high school which was published in Hi-Times, the La Porte High School newspaper.[citation needed]
- Roomies! - A webcomic about several college students.[citation needed]
- It's Walky! - A direct continuation of Roomies, It's Walky! featured a much more epic scope of events.[citation needed]
- Joyce and Walky! - A pay-per-month sequel to It's Walky! featuring the title characters, with a free strip every Saturday.[citation needed]
- Shortpacked! - A webcomic that portrays a toy store.[citation needed]
Willis also colored T Campbell and John Waltrip's spy-romance comic Rip & Teri.[citation needed]
Previously featured at Keenspot, Willis' work can now be found at Blank Label Comics.[citation needed]
