Charles Jacobson (born June 6, 1978 in North Miami Beach, Florida) is an American independent professional wrestler. His in-ring name, David Stahr is derived from the Hebrew religious symbol the Star of David (the H in Stahr comes from the spelling in the Torah). He is a member of the World of Wrestling, NWA Southwest, NWA Texas, and FEW rosters of talent. He is one of the few professional wrestlers in history to bring the Jewish culture and stereotypes directly into the spotlight.
Trained by a former GWF (Global Wrestling Federation) Superstar Tug Taylor, Jacobson began his career 5 years ago in the warehouse district of Downtown Houston, Texas. First wrestling under the name of Athos, he debuted in the World of Wrestling (then called Warriors of Wresling) as a heel on Aug 27, 2003 against G.O. Vonni at Whiskey Dicks in Houston, Texas. He maintained the Athos character for another year and a half after his debute. His career took a turn when he changed his wrestling persona to David Stahr. Since the days of Athos, he has wrestled for many American wrestling and Lucha libre wrestling companies, including the National Wrestling Alliance. Jacobson now resides as the current NWA Texas Junior Heavyweight Champion (won on Feb 9, 2007 from JT Lamotta).
