David Brynmor Jones

Sir David Brynmor Jones (1851 - August 6, 1921) was a Welsh barrister and politician.
Jones was born in Swansea, the son of Rev. Thomas Jones, a Congregationalist minister. He was the brother of Leif Jones and John Viriamu Jones. Educated at University College School and University College, London, he was called to the bar in 1876 from the Middle Temple. In 1885 he became a county court judge.
He was Liberal MP for Stroud from 1892 to 1895, and afterwards for the Swansea District from 1895 until 1914. He was knighted in 1906. He was a member of the Welsh Land Commission of 1893 and the Welsh Church Commission of 1907. He became a Privy Councillor in 1912.
