Dartmouth High School is a four-year public high school located in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.[2]
As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,315 students and 82.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 15.9.[1]

Dartmouth High School was reported in 1993 to be the scene of student violence when a student was murdered in a classroom, despite the school having no history of similar behaviour. Karter Reed, Gator Collet, both 16, and Nigel Thomas, 15 were charged with first degree murder.[3]

The Dartmouth High School Marching Band is renowned all over for its performances. The Band was a Division 5 winner of both USSBA and NESBA in 2003, 2004, and 2007. For a small school, it has a proportionately large number of people dedicated to the band. The band consists of a large number of people in the percussion section. This large number carries over into it's Winter Percussion season, which is also renowned for its performances. The Dartmouth High Winter Percussion won the Winter Guard International Percussion Scholastic World Championships in 1998, 1999 and 2008.[4][5][6]
