Darryl Bootland (born on November 2, 1981 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a National Hockey League Right Wing for the Anaheim Ducks. He currently plays with the Portland Pirates. He made his NHL debut with the Red Wings in 2003–04, recording two points (1–1–2) and 74 PIM in 22 games.
On March 5, 2007 Bootland was recalled by Detroit Red Wings. Bootland was left off the 2007 playoff roster by the Red Wings.
On July 6, 2007, Bootland signed with the New York Islanders.
On January 9, 2008, Bootland was traded to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for Matt Keith. He has appeared in 4 games with the Islanders with an assist and 2 penalty minutes, and played in 28 games, scoring 2 goals, 8 assists, and 93 penalty minutes for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the AHL in the 2007–2008 season.
Darryl's older brother Nick 6' 2 208 lbs plays for Kalamazoo in the New IHL in 2007/08.
