My name is Dan Edmonds and I'm honoured to be one of the contributors for the Wikimedia Project.
I consider myself an advocate for both the freedom and the spread of information around the world - this is become I am also an advocate of globalization and its effects on the world.
I regularly use Wikipedia to research data for university papers I have to write (although I'm smart enough to never, ever include wikipedia in my references).
I believe that any user of Wikipedia should give at least some of their time to edit information they see is wrong, or add information they believe needs to be included in an article.
