Since this is about a coming election, I think the party names should be sorted either after party letter or after name rather than the result of the last election. --Bagande 08:50, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- I disagree with both suggestions. Wikipedia is written to be as accessible as possible to the reader, not the expert. A list based on the party letter abbreviations is inappropriate here since this series of semi-random letters is completely unknown outside of Denmark. In addition, it is well-known internationally that the Danish parliament essentially has two wings, but a very large number of political parties. At the moment, more than 20 parties are probably all gathering signatures, hoping to be allowed to run. Given the complex situation, the average reader will expect the first entries on the list to be the most important ones, either ranked by size or grouped as "wing 1: ...", "wing 2. ...", "centre / swing" parties or something similar. A list tucking away Denmark's largest party both in terms of electoral result and membership at the bottom of a list after 10 other entries of which several are next to non-existing, is not helpful but confusing to the reader. The U.S. has quite a few political parties, but every list I've seen starts by listing the Democrats and the Republicans (or the other way around), but not the tiny parties, even if they might come in earlier going by the alphabet.. - The idea was to have a list of party leaders, but since Enhedslisten has collective leadership I changed it to notable candidates. Line Barfod is the frontrunner candidate from Enhedslisten. --Bagande 23:15, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
