The "Ghostly Wail" is the latest ghost power of Danny Phantom, as seen in the animated television movie The Ultimate Enemy. It is a sonic scream that sounds alot like a ghost's moaning. Danny Phantom recieved this power when battling his evil future self: Dark Danny in The Ultimate Enemy. Dark Danny already had this power. Whenever Danny uses this power, it drains him of energy and he reverts back to human form, except on one such occasion when his hair and eyes changed back to normal, but the rest of him didn't.

• Keep it seperate, it has a lot of good information that is not totally referential to Danny himself.

It has a lot of good information however it needs to be organized. and many of the misc are questions not facts. this should be fixed. keep Danny with his own article though.

It seems that Danny Phantom's Overshadowing ability is more powerful than Vlad's. Vlad had years of experience, but when he tried to Overshadow Jack Fenton in Bitter Reunions, Jack resisted him. However, when Danny Phantom tried for the first time, he was successful, and Jack Fenton wasn't even aware that it happened, maybe because they are related?

I'm guessing that Vlad was making Jack do things he REALLY didn't want to, or perhaps Vlad was was so evil that it clashed with him internally, and thus was aware enough of his condition to summon the will to resist. Who deleted the possible powers section? I think that was a nice way to follow his "evolution" as a ghost. Can someone rewrite that part?

It should it was vary interesting and i don't see teleportation on the Powers paragraph.

Possible solution: Entitle the section "Powers Used by Other Ghosts." Make it clear in the opening paragraph that Danny has not yet used those powers but it is likely that he will learn some of them (namely abilities used by Vlad and his future self). Actually, it's unlikely that Danny will learn any abilities from enemy ghosts other than ghost-human hybrids. I won't delete those yet until further discussion; I'll move those to the end of the section, though. 64.175.36.108 19:26, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

As of now, PacificCoastHighway has changed it back. If you're reading this, PCH, can you explain your comment (Let's not speculate. And the section explicitly said stuff other ghosts can do. Not him specifically.) First of all, calling it "possible powers" is more speculative than referring to it as abilities that other ghosts have demonstrated. Second, it explicitly said stuff that other ghosts can do because these are abilities that other ghosts can do. Aside from a select few of the abilities, Danny has shown no capability of performing the abilities. Sorry, let me make things clear. Wikipedia is NOT the place for us to speculate on what *may or may not* happen down the line. Therefore, that section dosen't belong. In addition, that blurb specifically gives mentions to powers that other ghosts have. Not Danny's. Well, in the present tense. I understand that it's not the place for speculation. I merely moved the section, changed the title, and reworded it slightly. So, why did you revert it to when the section was actually called "Possible Powers" then? Why not just delete that section entirely? There's a contradicting statement regarding invisibility and intangibility, it says that Sam could see him in Memory Blank when he was phasing through the floor, and right after it says that they both work similarly and thus work together. Invisibility and Intangibility are separate powers, and while Danny often uses them together, he can use them separately. When he is invisible, his outline turns black, and you can see through every part of him. Image:danny_phantom_01.jpg was added for the image on the top of the article for the image in the box not to be fooled around. because Image:danny_phantom_01.jpg had Danny's old suit I added Image:Dannyphantomnewform.jpg just so the article could had him in both costumes. Sothe chase is Image:Dannyphantomnewform.jpg should not be added in the box Image:danny_phantom_01.jpg was for that top box oh and no buts Mrsanitazier 18 ,September 2006 12:11 (GMT)

[edit] Pyrokinesis?

As I have stated in the Ghost Powers section, Danny was shown to have pyrokinesis in the Urban Jungle game, although the game called it Ghostly Fire. While this power has not appeared in the show (yet), I listed it in the powers section because it was featured in the game. Should this information be placed in both this article and the article about the Urban Jungle video game?

Danny's gas form was only used in "Parental Bonding", and was really nothing more than a variation of intangibility. He never used it since, so stop adding it.

I live in Latin America and I watched the marathon, Danny doesn't get duplication in Torrent of Terror, which is the 4th episode in season 3, not the 1st. He does however uses Cryokinesis a lot in Boxed Up Fury. 201.37.28.3 22:27, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

I'm almost positive that Vlad said he didn't have a ghostly wail. And Vlad probably doesn't have Cryokinesis, although I don't think that was proven. Nick has a nasty habit of airing episodes out of order. D: CompGrl323 08:18, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Vlad has NEVER shown any signs of ghostly wail, cryokinesis, or ghost sense. So we should say that's three powers Danny has that Vlad does not. And Danny first used duplication in Reign Storm, and uses it later in Beauty Marked, and Torrent of Terror. other than that, it isn't as big a power for Danny as it was for Vlad. He first used cryokinesis in Urban Jungle, then in most remaining episoids of season three. And he uses Ghost sense in Mystery Meat, and later in countless others.
