Danville Township is located in Vermilion County, Illinois. The population was 34,094 as of the 2000 census.

Danville Township covers an area of about 50 square miles and contains the south portion of the county seat of Danville, as well as the towns of Belgium and Tilton.
According to the USGS, it contains twelve cemeteries: Atherton, Danville National, Forse, Greenwood, Hooten, Langley, Lutheran, Lynch, Oakhill, Parish, Saint Patrick's and Sandhill.
