Daniel Chávez (born January 8, 1988 in Callao) is a Peruvian football striker who currently plays for Club Brugge K.V..
His preferred position is Centre Forward, however he is more effective on the wings because of his phenomenal pace and acceleration, combined with his good crossing skills. His technique and skills have attracted the eyes of many scouts, but they could all see that he has a lack of experience, and it's not known of any official offers made according to him. A scout of S.S. Lazio once said about him, "Had I met him when he was 16, he would have been one of the best talents in the world". Another scout said "outstandingly gifted, must move to a club where he'll be seen".
