The seventh season of Dancing with the Stars will premiere in September 2008 as a part of ABC's fall line-up. The show will continue to follow the format of previous seasons, with 12 couples. The show will continue to be hosted by Tom Bergeron as well as Samantha Harris. Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba will continue to be judges this season.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Ashly DelGrosso have confirmed that they would be professionals this year on their official sites. Julianne Hough will most likely not return for she will be on tour promoting her new self-titled album during the time of rehearsals and the season premiere.
