Dana Glover (born October 14, 1974 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina) is an American pop singer and songwriter most noted for performing film songs.

Dana Glover was born in Rocky Mount, but later moved to Asheville, North Carolina at the age of 8. When Glover turned 16, she went to Manhattan to pursue a modeling career, but after two years in New York she decided that music was her passion and went to Los Angeles to write songs. Once Glover was in Los Angeles she became a piano player in clubs. In 1995 she landed a gig as a session sax player for Peter Cetera's album "One Clear Voice". In the coming months she performed on the subsequent tour with Cetera and sang several of his duets such as "After All", and "Next Time I Fall". Then finally Dana auditioned for DreamWorks and was very nervous but it paid off, she was then signed by ex-Band songwriter and affiliate Robbie Robertson of DreamWorks. She was climbing her way to the top.
In 2001, she got her big break when she performed the song, "Plan on Forever", in a duet with Mervyn Warren for the movie The Wedding Planner, and in the same year she received the opportunity to perform her most notable song "It Is You (I Have Loved)", the love theme from the film Shrek. Then Robbie Robertson introduced her to Matthew Wilder. Wilder produced her debut album, "Testimony", which reached #41 on the Billboard Heatseaker Charts. On this album she had two singles. "Thinking Over" reached #17 on the AC charts and #22 on the AC Top 40 charts. The other was Rain which reached #30 on the AC Top 40 charts. In 2004, "Thinking Over" was used for the Garry Marshall film Raising Helen. Other notable film songs are The Way (Radio Song) from the Sandra Bullock/Hugh Grant comedy Two Weeks Notice and Maybe from Laws of Attraction.
