Dallas Crutcher Long (born 13 June 1940) was an American athlete, who was four time world record holder in the shot put. He was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
He competed for the United States at the 1960 Summer Olympics held in Rome, Italy where he won the bronze medal behind fellow Americans Bill Nieder and Parry O'Brien in the men's shot put event. He returned four years later to Tokyo for the 1964 Summer Olympics where he finally won the gold medal in the men’s shot put; runner up was Randy Matson.
Dallas Crutcher Long qualified as a dentist.
